I beg to differ. In my personal experience of over 25 years in education as
a teacher and principal in various school setting, working along both with
Ashkenazi and Sephardic teachers, I did not find less spelling mistakes. As
a matter of fact, I found that the Israeli teachers made more mixups with
the Tes and Sav, etc. Worse than that was the mistakes in vowelization.
Don't ask how many Kametz and Patachs were mixed up.
