Hello everyone,
I know i'm a "tad" late with this subject, but its something that puzzled
me over the Yom Tov. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We all know that when it comes to Mitzvos(commandments) classified as "eduyos"
(Testimonial Commandments). Those mitzvos have reasons:

Pesach-The Seder- B/C of "V'hegadta l'bincha" (The Mitzva of telling over
the exodus.)
Matza-B/C we ran out of Egypt

Shavuos-Receiving the Torah

Succos-The Succah-a)clouds of glory b) actual huts we sat in c) represents
the temporary world(olam hazeh)

My question is on the Arba Minim (4 species held in hand on Succot). What
is the reason behind this Mitzva ? I have heard about each species
represent each type of Jew (thru each species having or not having taste or
smell)(Anyone willing to elaborate, be my guest). I've also heard about
these species being our vessels of war, and we are coming back from the
battle (Yom Kippur) victorious, because all our aveiros (sins)have been
forgiven.

These are both nice drush (analysis), however, was wondering if anybody out
there had other reasons.

Any response would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Shawn Karp
