I'm trying to get a little insight into a hebrew term I came across while
reading Genesis. GE 38:14 refers to an open place on the road to Timnath.
The place is called 'Petach Enayim'. It means the 'doorway of eyes', as I'm
sure your aware. I am trying to determine if there is any cultural
significance to this term. Any help is appreciated.
