"The Way of G-d"
Part 3: "The Soul, Inspiration, Prophecy, and the Supernatural"
Chapter 1: "The Soul and its Influence"
Paragraph 5
We're taught that the G-dly component of our soul has certain "flights" of
its own, though we can barely fathom what they'd be like. We might think it
couldn't possibly, since it's still-and-all attached to our mortal beings
and thus
to this world. But know that our G-dly components are still connected to the
higher realms despite their associations "down here".
Now, those utterly "otherworldly" experiences of our higher self *do* leave
impressions behind, but only in our unconscious minds. And only in the very
most subtle of ways. As hunches, vague senses of this or that, inchoate
whispers.
